'How Optimistic Are You?'

I tried this test and found something in me. No harm trying right.

To find out how happy or gloomy you are, answer the statements below by choosing the letter with the description which most closely matches the way you feel:

A - Strongly Agree
B - Agree
C - Neutral
D - Disagree
E - Strongly Disagree

The Questions:

1. In uncertain times, I usually expect the best outcomes.
2. It’s easy for me to relax.
3. If something can go wrong for me, I think it will.
4. I’m always optimistic about my future.
5. I enjoy being with my friends.
6. It’s important for me to keep busy.
7. I hardly ever expect things to go my way.
8. I don’t get upset too easily.
9. I rarely count on good things happening to me.
10. Overall, I expect more good than bad things to happen to me.

The results:

Ignore your answers to the four statements 2,5,6 and 8 - psychologists include these to check that you are being truthful!

Add up the subtotal scores for questions 1,4 and 10, as follows: A is 4 pts; B is 3; C is 2; D is 1; and E is 0.

Add up the subtotal score for questions 3,7 and 9, as follows: A is 0 pts; B is 1, C is 2; D is 1; and E is 4.

Combine these two scores for your total and check below to see how sunny your outlook is on life.

What your scores mean:

If you scored between 0 and 7, you’re serious pessimist, the world is coming to an end, and well .. what can you do about it?

If you scored between 8 and 16, you may suffer dog days when life seems miserable, but generally your outlook is cheery and you feel that everything is okay.

If you scored between 17 and 24, wow, you are the eternal optimist who rarely, if ever, sees a dark cloud on the horizon. You are either a top entrepreneur or the target for every conman in the area!

p/s: more than 65% of people score between 10 and 18.
